Position Summary:  

The General Manager (GM) will oversee all operational aspects of Strong Bros General Contracting, driving business growth, operational excellence, and team development. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, the GM will ensure the company’s projects and teams align with strategic goals, delivering quality and client satisfaction.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute business strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets.  
  • Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring projects meet quality, safety, and budgetary expectations.  
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor department heads and staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.  
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.  
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, identifying opportunities for efficiency and growth.  
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and company policies.  
  • Market Growth: Identify new business opportunities and expand the company’s presence within the construction industry.  

Qualifications:  

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Construction Management, or a related field.  
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in construction or a similar industry.  
  • Skills: Strong financial acumen, operational management expertise, and client relationship skills.  
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Indigenous Services Canada Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB) is advantageous.
