Our Story

Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Kevin Strong grew up in a close-knit family of seven, where he learned the value of hard work alongside his coal miner father, Ralph Strong. Inspired by his older siblings’ move to Toronto, Kevin relocated with his family at an early age, eventually leaving school at 15 years old to support them financially. His diverse career path led him to the heating and air conditioning industry, where he met his future wife, Sophia. Together, they purchased Regional Combustion, showcasing their determination and entrepreneurial spirit. After its success, they embarked on a new journey, setting up Strong Bros in Belleville in 1989 and incorporating it in 1992, honoring their family bond and commitment to excellence in construction services.

Today Strong Enterprises is run by Kevin’s children Justin and Natalie Strong. The siblings are ushering in a new period of innovation and growth with significant investment in new company headquarters designed to highlight the architectural abilities of the firm. In 2024 the siblings embarked on a rebrand renaming the company Strong Enterprises, reflecting their commitment to expansion and innovation.
